Jitterbugs

Jitterbugs is a program which enables children to develop their creative abilities, use their imagination, gain an understanding of rhythm, increase co –ordination and improve self confidence.

Using age appropriate music, movement songs, games and props, Jitterbugs sessions emphasis the fun of movement and Music.

Through movement children are able to tune their fine and gross motor skills and further develop such skills as concentration, listening to directions, working together in a group and waiting their turn, whilst they are simply having fun!

Letterland – Successfully teaching your child to read and write

Letterland is a unique, phonics based approach to teaching, reading, writing and spelling for 3-8 year olds. Letterland provides a link between letter sounds and letter shapes.

At Tiggers Childcare and Kindergarten we believe it is essential that our preschool children are given a solid foundation in phonics before moving to primary school. Letterland helps to build this foundation in a unique play based way.

Healthy Aussie Kids

Healthy Aussie kids is a sports program designed to promote and reinforce healthy eating and is designed to develop gross and fine motor skills.

Healthy Aussie kids Sports classes are for children over 2 years of age. Healthy Aussie Kids focuses on building children’s confidence and self-esteem. Activities are varied and include Sporting activities such as football, cricket, soccer and basketball and also include games such as Tug of war, sack races, egg & spoon races and what’s the time Mr Wolf. Coach Michael has a Bachelor of Science, Certificate III & IV in Fitness and has been with healthy Aussie Kids for 7 years.

Tiggers Childcare Centre & Kindergarten Camberwell offer quality childcare in Camberwell catering for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kinder. Our Camberwell childcare centre manager Della encourages a day care environment that makes the children feel safe whilst enjoying the freedom to express themselves as individuals. Our Childcare Centre provides nutritional meals, energetic staff and a strong foundation for early education.
